Peregrine St John has spent 65 years in the Accountancy profession and offers an insight into an Accountants' public practice in the 1950s and 1960s and 1970s when H M Treasury and the profession had a mutual respect for each other, which has now deteriorated.
Some of the unusual Clients’ cases are examined with humour and understanding.
The writer has used an assumed name as he is still in part-time practice not only for enjoyment but also to add to the meagre income he receives from the Government.

Of English Italian heritage, Peter Janes light-heartedly describes the mix as being conservatively flamboyant with a logically chaotic frame of mind. Although contradictive, his analysis of himself becomes clearer when delving deeper into his life. Holding a full time job in data management, he is also working on several writing projects each at different stages of completion and also designs and maintains web sites for friends. Outside of a busy work and home life, as an avid motor-sport fan he can be found at various race tracks across the UK following the British Touring Car Championships. Also a great lover of cinema, "Cock it & Pull it" is inspired by a plethora of British movies from past and present. The author praises the talent in both the British movie making industry and its writers making Britain, in his opinion, one of the best places for new and inspirational talent.

Suzannah John was born and raised in Cheshire with a large family of three sisters and one brother.
She had a harsh upbringing with a strict stepfather that left her searching for the release from her emotional pain.

Through years of therapy and the rejection of so many people that she called friends, she pressed on to find that she could have the freedom that God had promised her.
Today she is a strong, determined author, with a unique understanding and a God given wisdom of how to help others.
Suzannah is now happily married with her husband and lives in Hampshire, where she continues to pursue her dreams.
